The Challenge

A large enterprise needed to migrate a 4TB Oracle 12c production database to 19c. Business requirements dictated a maximum "offline" window of 15 minutes. A standard migration estimated 20+ hours of downtime.

While the 4TB import ran on the target server, our SCN-Bridge connected to the source database. Starting from the exact SCN of the snapshot, it processed over 1.2 million intermediate transactions in the background.
